In another life from 2015-2018 or so I had the wonderful job of designing merch ideas and concepts for various brands/franchises including Blizzard Entertainment, Sony Playstation, Nintendo, and Bandai Namco to name a few.
This would include basic sketching, but also included package design, creative problem solving, trend research, and product positioning.
This was also around the time where I started to try to sketch in Adobe Illustrator (I don't suggest it) to try and streamline my workflow. So the style is a bit rough, but you get the overall idea.
A number of these products made it through to market, but with this sort of scattergun approach to product, not everything can get made.
To this day this remains one of my favorite group of clients and products I've ever got to work with.
